The exact cause of bipolar is unknown however many believe it can be triggered through extreme stress, overwhelming problems and life changing events. Some also believe bipolar can be caused of genetic and chemical factors.

Often develops equally through men and woman, however occasionally ages between 15-19 year old and rarely develops after 40.
