Pride
Considered the most serious of the Seven Deadly Sins. The idea of having to much pride can make humans more like God – dignity and holiness. It is identified as dangerously corrupt selfishness, the putting of ones desires, urges, wants and whims before the welfare of other people. More destructive cases, one believes to be better than others. More superior and importnat.
Envy
Characterized by an insatiable desire. Described as a sad or resentful covetousness towards the traits of someone else.
Wrath
Defined as uncontrolled feelings of anger, rage and even hatred. Wrath often reveals itself in the wish to seek vengeance. In its purest form, wrath presents with injury, violence, and hate that may provoke feuds.
Sloth
Without care. Expression in laziness, idleness and indolence. Refers to a peciliar jumble of notions, dating from antiquity and including mental, spiritual, pathological and physical states.
Greed
Sin of desire. Greed is applied to an artificial, rapacious desire and pursuit or material possessions. Hording of materials or objects, theft and robbery, especially by means of violence and manipulation.
Gluttony
Is the overindulgence and overconsumption of anything to the point of waste. In Christianity, it is considered a sin if the excessive desire for food causes it to be withheld from the needy.
Lust
Usually thought of as intense or unbriled sexual desire, which leads to fornication, adultery, rape and immoral sexual acts. However, Lust can also mean simply desire in general
