  • Causing Immediate Death
  • Capital Punisment
  • The drug causes the person to become unconcious, stops their breathing, and caused a heart arrythmia, in that order.

Sodium Thiopental – Induce Unconsciousness

Pancuronium Bromide – Muscle Paralysis & Respiratory Arrest

Potassium Chloride – To stop the heart

  • Leathal Injection gained popularity in the late 20th Century as a form of execution intended to supplant other methods, norably electrocution, gas inhaltion, hanging & fireing squad. They were considered to be less humane.
